For many of us life might feel a little like this python’s as we find ourselves a month into the Covid 19 pandemic in Australia. Right now, we need each other - our families, our friends, and the strength within ourselves – to navigate difficult and uncertain times. COVID 19 has been many things. It has been tragic for many people in the world and in Australia. For some the biggest challenge is letting go of the plans we had for family, work or holidays. For others it is about adapting to new rhythms and changes in the world. But as always, just beyond most of these plans and changes is the natural world that surrounds us. At Wild Mountains we understand the loss of loved ones, the threat of illness and anxiety for the future.

Wild Mountains has been heavily impacted by COVID-19 and understand the anxiety for the future and the losses that this virus has and will cause. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to making a difference - committed to shifting attitudes, touching hearts, inspiring minds and planting trees one at a time. Whatever ensues, we will do everything in our power to support our community to find hope, joy and build positive memories over the coming months. We hope to do this with more online engagements through meaningful education and inspiring news. Through this, we hope to remind you of the beauty, grace and presence of the natural world around you and find solace in the silence and joy in birdsong.
